He's 3

I can't believe my fisrt born is 3 already! Where has time gone. I know every parent questions this when their little one's birthday rolls around, but really it is unbelievable/happy/sad that he is three. While visiting my parents in California, I took advantage of the greenery and in a whole 5 minutes captured his personality. All of these darling little poses were his ideas. He obsesses with that hat! It literally goes everywhere we go. I love how it makes his ears flop. For his birthday he wanted a camping party, so we invited a few friends over, pitch the tent in the dining room (it is 110 outside) sat in camping chairs, painted rocks, fished for bugs, made bugs out of sculpty, and ate dirt and campfire cupcakes. I love kids' birthdays!

Missed

My sister and her family have moved back to Idaho and we sure miss them! My little guy often asks when they will be back or if they can come over and play. He doesn't quite understand they aren't coming back. So sad! Right before they left, we headed out at high noon and snapped a few pics of the kids together.
